Born in the small town of Povocoa, Azores, our Dad was a caretaker of  the Village Gardens, one of the most beautiful gardens in St. Micheal. In 1960, he relocated to Bermuda and began working for Cabral Landscape, which he has continued having strong relationships with over  decades. In the spring of 1975 our Dad made the journey to the United States and made it our permanent home. Soon there after he established his business the following year. Growing up we would go with him depositing business cards from mailbox to mailbox and in a short time the business grew by word of mouth.  

In the beginning we used  brooms and hand shears.  Lawns were done with push mowers and all grass trimming was done by hand with shears all of which not only taught us hard work but also skill. Through the years we not only learned by observing our Dad's work ethic and knowledge but more importantly his natural ability of what it means to build solid relationships with customers.
